Uluru’s Sensational Sunrises and Sunsets: Photo Post

Uluru Sunrises and Sunsets

Uluru is really all about the changing colours, in particular the creative palettes of sunrise and sunset.

I took a zillion photos during my trip to Uluru and I’ve spent hours pouring over them, contrasting and comparing, trying to choose which ones to share with you.

It’s hard to choose, so very hard but these are my final favourites. Enjoy the views of Uluru.

Uluru sunrise – I love the gorgeous green desert, the rock like a shimmering mirage and that bird swooping by.

uluru-sunset

Uluru sunset – most people vanished from the sunset viewing area as soon as the sun did. But stick around and you’ll see the colors keep changing long after the sun has disappeared.

Kata Tjuta sunrise –  just a 40 minute drive from Uluru – this is worth getting up for but wrap up warm.

Kata Tjuta sunset – no words needed – this shot is my hot favourite of the lot.
