I'm lucky enough to live here so I have plenty of time to enjoy all Noosa has to offer. I should create a list for adults only. A sunset cocktail after on River Lounge sounds great. Well, I confess I've never actually been here in August yet (just twice in June) but I think you guessed right. Bring two light sweaters each and a couple of long-sleeved t-shirts as well as your short-sleeved t-shirts and you should be OK. You'll all need a sweater on the plane anyway and you might one one for the daytime too. I'm wearing a cotton cardigan now as I get cold sitting around but you'll be warm if you're on the move or in the sun. It could be chilly if you go out on a boat fishing though. I wear sandals most days. Bring hats and sunglasses, the sun is bright when it comes out. I think winter on the Sunshine Coast is like a British summer if that means anything to you. Now's a great time to visit too - the crowds have thinned out and you can even get a park in the National Park car park these days plus the weather is perfect - sunny days, blue skies and much more temperate than December to March.
