Hilarious! I confess, that may not have been the brightest idea but I swear it was all based around a bestselling book about giving up smoking by one evil man, Alan Carr I think. Ah, the folly of youth:) I’ve given up smoking so often, I’m quite an expert on it now. It’s true, it does get easier each time. But that bottle of port. Ouch is the word! I have certainly never been tempted to repeat that one:)

Hmm. I remember a certain attempt to quit smoking while we were in Spain. It was a method we were to follow that ended in smoking until we wanted to puke and then flushing the remaining cigarettes down the toilet. I think the culmination was in Toledo. Or were we in Portugal at that point, with the ill-fated bottle of porto we decided to drink before dinner? Ouch.
