I had no trouble discovering my passion – travelling and inspiring others to travel in Australia – but parlaying that into a ‘lifestyle’ is a bit more tricky. So … thanx for the tip!!

    Happy travels!!

Hi Marion, that’s a wonderful passion and one I share although my fave countries tend to be developing ones. Hmm, I’m thinking the Aussie Tourist Board should sponsor you – you’re doing a wonderful job promoting Australia and I know your travel stories will inspire many people to explore Australia:)

Having great passion about your niches is incredible important…if you fell as so your work is your life and you don’t see it as a job..then that’s a passion you should continue.

    Hi Annabel.

I could not agree more with this topic. Having a passion for something drives you to succeed. As an example, take blogging in and of itself. If we’re writing about a topic because we think people may be interested in it or simply to make money, it’s the wrong approach. On the other hand, a topic you are passionate about makes it super easy to generate content and be creative.

It’s never work when you love what you’re doing. :-)

I wrote a two-part piece on how this is critical to success a while back.
To really enjoy life, we must find something that we absolutely love to do.

Hi Jimi, thanks for summing it all up so well: To really enjoy life, we must find something that we absolutely love to do. I think if you love it you can get really good at it too:)

    Thanks for the tip.

A reader of my website asked how to discover our passion. I still do not know how to give the simplest answer, but you’ve given me some ideas.

Now this is something I’d tell friends about. In fact, this would make a New Year surprise present, huh? It would be wonderful to help out people dear to us discover themselves and their passion. More wonderful that Annabel has summed it all up here. :)

Happy new year, Girl! Keep helping people view life better, live it better!

    Hi Annabel,
I have been blessed with having almost too many passions and I actually get to do most of them. I volunteer for literacy for two organizations and I am a personal organizer. I get to help people get out from under their clutter. I also love to make art and I can do that at home. Following your bliss is so important and rewarding! Thanks for this post!
